Questions about eRFx

Can I run an RFI with no price component at all?

Yes. You set the balance between quality and price for each event, and an RFI can leave price out entirely. Nothing in iProcure scores on price by default. Each event starts from your organisation's default for that type of event and category, and the buyer can adjust it on the record.

How do suppliers respond, and do they need an account?

Today a buyer can build, preview and publish an event and see exactly what each supplier will see. The supplier portal is coming next: suppliers respond from a secure link with no password, see confidential material only after accepting the NDA, and answer online or in a familiar spreadsheet.

Can several evaluators score without seeing each other's scores?

Yes, that is the design. Each evaluator scores independently and cannot see a colleague's scores until they submit their own. The chair then records the agreed consensus score, and every individual score is kept. Prices stay sealed until technical sign-off. The evaluator workspace is shown on sample data today.

We already have a tender portal. Can we use only the evaluation?

That is planned. An evaluation-only mode will let you bring in responses collected elsewhere and run the scoring, consensus and award decision in iProcure. The Sourcing module stands alone either way, and the award and evaluation report export for your other systems. The demo runs an evaluation on your own category.
